Our Michigan motorcycle accident lawyers are reporting a tragic Lyon Township motorcycle accident. The accident took place on Friday, August 7th, in the evening hours. According to police, Gary Cline was riding his motorcycle with his wife, Donna Cline, as a passenger down Pontiac Trail when a young girl driving a pickup truck drove into their path and struck them. Both motorcyclist’s were killed due to the accident. The driver and her passengers were not injured.
I am very sorry to hear about this tragic accident and my condolences go out to the family of the deceased victims.
Our Michigan motorcycle accident attorneys advise bikers of their legal rights. Family members of the deceased victims may be able to make a claim for Survivor Loss Benefits for the deceased victims. This can include payment of funeral expenses, lost wages, and loss of other services.
Also, the family members of the deceased victims may have a claim for a Michigan wrongful death lawsuit against the driver that police determine was negligent and caused the motorcycle-car accident. At the very least, the surviving family should hire the best possible lawyer to look into these possibilities.
