Fatal Romulus Motorcycle Accident

I read a tragic story this morning about a Fatal Romulus Motorcycle Accident that happened on I-275 approaching the Huron River overpass last night. According to Romulus Police, the biker was travelling on I-275 when his bike was allegedly hit by a trailer tire that flew off of a trailer being hauled by a pick-up truck. The biker lost control, hit a wall and went over the overpass. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are continuing to investigate this accident.

I am very sorry to hear that this tragic motorcycle accident happened. My condolences go out to the family and friends of the biker.

Our Michigan motorcycle accident lawyers  advise bikers of their legal rights.  Because this motorcycle accident involved contact with another motor vehicle, the biker would have been eligible for Michigan No-Fault Insurance benefits.  These benefits provide for payment of medical expenses, lost wages, attendant care services, and other benefits.  Family members may also may be able to make a claim for Survivor Loss Benefits.  This can include payment of funeral expenses, lost wages, and loss of other services.

In addition to these claims, the surviving family members may be entitled to file a Michigan Wrongful Death Lawsuit against the negligent driver and the owner of the vehicle and the trailer.  This may depend on the results of the police investigation and who the police attribute fault in the accident.

For a complete explanation of the rights of injured bikers in Michigan, you should request our FREE BOOK, “The Ultimate Michigan Motorcycle Accident Handbook.” Furthermore, the surviving family members may have a claim against the driver of the motor vehicle for wrongful death of the bikers. Muskegon County Motorcycle Accident

I read a tragic story in today’s paper about 2 people seriously injured in a Muskegon County Motorcycle Accident at the intersection of Apple Avenue and Sheridan Road in Muskegon Township. According to Muskegon Township Police, a biker and his passenger, on a 2000 Suzuki motorcycle, allegedly collided with a 2004 Ford Ranger when the driver of the truck turned left on a yellow light.

The motorcycle struck the passenger side door and slip partially under the truck. Both bikers were rushed to the local hospital where one is in critical condition. Police continue to investigate this accident.

I  am very sorry to hear about this Michigan motorcycle accident and wish the biker and his passenger a speedy and complete recovery.

Organizer of Grand Rapids Bikestock in Motorcycle Accident

I read a story today in paper about the Organizer of Grand Rapids Bikestock in Motorcycle Accident.  Michael Trufflemire sustained a broken leg and ankle when a minivan turned in front of his bike and he was unable to stop before crashing into the side of the van, according to Trufflemire.

I am sorry that this accident happened and wish Mr. Trufflemire a fast recovery.  This is a typical example of bikers being injured on Michigan roadways due to negligent driving of a motorist.  The injuries suffered in these accidents are often catastrophic.
